InstaFriday
Here we go again! I'm linking up with Jeannett at Life Rearranged with my weekly cell phone pics. I'm working on a few posts right now so I promise my blog will consist of more then just InstaFriday posts! I need to take some pics of Henry and do a one month post but first I need my husband to install photoshop on my computer (did you hear that honey?!?)
We had a very fun and exciting week! Grandpa and Nana flew out from California and spent a little time with us and met Henry. This last week sort of felt like a mini vacation so I'm still trying to get back in the swing of things. I just realized Ella starts school in less then a month! Can summer already be over!?!? :(
We went to the zoo this weekend and the kids had fun riding rides.
Ella got a little wet on the log ride
I love that the other kid is totally photo bombing us ;)
We went to the bicentennial park in downtown Columbus and the kids had a blast playing in all the fountains
Our last night with Grandpa and Nana called for some hot glazed donuts from Krispy Kreme
Micah loved holding Henry
Henry started to sort of smile
Henry also did a lot more of this all week. He has also decided our bed is a much more comfy napping spot then his bassinet.
When Henry isn't sleeping he enjoys deep intellectual conversations with daddy
We have confirmed that this cute little girl is in fact a bottomless pit and is never full
I realized I'm not the only nerdy mom who gets excited about buying a backpack because we discovered that the backpack we wanted for Kindergarden was sold out online and our local store had one left, the display..so we of course had to buy it now.
I yet again attempted to get a picture of all the kids, we came close!
Henry sported some very cute hair after his bath
and last but not least, I have officially made it back to the gym! I was able to elliptical while watching the Today show this morning (and I didn't die like I thought I would)

InstaFriday
I'm linking up again with Jeanett over at Life Rearranged. Here is our week in iphone photos. It's starting to feel like summer again as I'm slowly getting out of the house more. Maybe having four kids isn't so tough after all? ;)
Started the weekend off with a backyard camp out
Went yard sale shopping and found this adorable costume for Rilynn
Some hallway puppet shows were performed
Somebody thought they were still a baby ;)
Had a cousin sleepover
Rilynn taught me how to look cute in your swimsuit while practicing safety
Rilynn enjoyed choo choo train rides down the hallway courtesy of her big brother
Spent a couple days at the pool where this little girl finally said goodbye to floatation devices and is now a swimmer (thanks to her older cousin)
We discovered that if we bring this pink princess chair to the pool Rilynn will just sit there the whole time completely content (she of course has to have her Vente Starbucks ice water with her too)
and Henry did a lot of this

Summer Fun
Since Henry's arrival four weeks ago I have felt like we have been missing out on summer. We have had record breaking high temperatures the last few weeks which is partly to blame for being stuck inside. I have been feeling bad for the other kids though since they haven't been able to play outside too much or go to the pool like we usually do every summer, so we were excited when we got an invite to our friends house in Indiana this last weekend. They just moved to a new house and have a huge pond in their backyard as well as tons of other fun stuff for the kids to do. To the say the kids had fun is an understatement. We had to practically drag them out of the water. You also know Ella had a fun day when she falls asleep in the car driving home ;)

InstaFriday
I'm linking up with Jeanett over at Life Rearranged with my weekly cell phone pics except I'm going to sort of cheat and actually post pics from Henry's first weeks since I'm WAY behind! It's only been three short weeks but it seriously feels like months have passed! I keep wondering "why does my body still look like I just had a baby!?!" and then I realize, "oh yeah, because I just did have a baby" I guess it's a result of how much our little Hen has already changed. He is already out of newborn diapers (so glad I purchased over 200 newborn diapers! Huge mommy fail) His little face is getting chubbier and he seems more alert every day. I feel like he's already growing up too fast even though he's still very much a newborn :) I know I just need to savor each precious day with him because this will probably be my last newborn but when you have three other kids to tend to that's very much easier said then done! Haha
