Feels like summer

So we pretty much skipped spring and moved right on into summer. The temperatures have reached up into 90's the last few days and it's been wonderful! The kids and I have been outside enjoying every minute of it! I bought the kids a slip and slide and we had fun playing on it all day yesterday. They needed some motivation to get going though so we got a rope, tied a vacuum cleaner attachment on the end and pulled them down. Who says you need to buy fancy toys? ;)

3 Months (very late)

Rilynn is turning 4 months in five days so this post is extremely late! Don't worry though, the four month post will be late as well so it will all sort of even out ;) Our little Ri Ri (nickname the kids call her) is changing so fast! She is rolling over and starting to be found in different positions then when we left her in her crib. She loves lying under her activity center and grabbing hold of the toys. She loves to suck her thumb (cutest thing ever!) She now shares a room with her big sister although some nights I'm too lazy to put her back in there and she just stays with me :) She is still a happy sweet little baby and we love her SO much!

Inniswood Gardens

Every Spring we like to go to the Inniswood Metro gardens. It's absolutely gorgeous! There are a lot of trails to walk on and some really great picture taking spots. When we were there I think we saw about five photo sessions going on. We got there a little later this year due to the constant rain we have been having so we missed out on alot of the flowers that we saw last year :( It's still a beautiful spot though and one of our favorite places to go in Columbus.

Cubbies

Ella finished up her first year of Cubbies last week. She had an awards night which was followed by a fair, that included bounce houses, face painting, and tons of games! Micah and her had a ton of fun. Rilynn and I ended up winning a cake during the cake walk :)

Easter

It was a rainy overcast Easter here. I was pretty bummed we couldn't be outside. Indoor Easter egg hunts just aren't the same :( I got a few pics of the kids but I'm hoping if it ever stops raining to take some more of them outside in their Easter clothes.

Kinda Spring?

Wow, my second blog post this month! I'm on a roll ;) This month has been pretty nuts. Paul has been traveling alot for work. We began the big room switch which turned out to be a bigger job then I was expecting especially since Paul was gone so I was trying to take care of three kids while switching all the rooms around. The house looked like a bomb went off and then throw in the everyday messes that kids make and it made for a stressful few days. Thankfully, we are almost done! The girls are now in Micah's old room, and Micah's old room will be a play room for a few months and the guest room is Micah's temporary room until he goes into Ella's old room... did you follow all that? ;) I will post pics soon of the girls room because it turned out super cute! I had so much fun decorating it and I can't wait to do the same for Micah's in a few months. So that's what I have been doing. We were able to get out and go to the park a couple weeks ago thanks to a rare sunny and warm day! The weather hasn't been too cold but to to get a combo of sunny and warm has only happened a few days since it's been officially spring. Sometimes I think maybe we are living in Seattle Washington instead of Ohio. We picked Ella up from school and headed to the park on sunny Friday afternoon to enjoy the beautiful day! Hopefully we will get to do it again someday soon. I checked the weather for this week and I only saw one picture of the sun, the rest were clouds with thunderbolts and rain coming out of them, boo!:(

2 Months (a little late)

Rilynn is two months old (ok, she's almost three) ;)
She's growing so fast and she's almost 12 pounds! She just recently discovered her hand and sits and stares at it for along time with a very serious look on her face, it's pretty cute :)
