Together Again!

It's been so wonderful to be back together as a family! Paul has been traveling so much for work the last 2 months and with me gone for a week it's been awhile since we all went and did something fun together. We went to the Zoo the other day to get some more usage out of our zoo passes. It was a perfect day for the zoo! The weather was perfect and it wasn't crowded since school has started back up. I have felt so bad for Ella this summer because we have been cooped up in the house for most of it! With Paul gone, and Micah HATING the car(he screams the entire time!), outings have become a little more difficult. Lately the only place she goes to is to the grocery store =( Hopefully we can squeeze more activities in before the dreaded winter comes.

Micah didn't know what to think of the zoo

Looking at the lions

She wanted mommy to sit on them too

She loved the "Sheepies" (that's what she kept calling them)

Moving On Up!

Micah has started sleeping through the night (Hooray!) which means he is done sleeping in the bassinet next to our bed and now has graduated to the crib. With Micah in the crib Ella is now officially in a "big girl bed!" She loves sleeping in her new bed and so far has been doing great in it!

And We're Back

I have been taking a little vacation from blogging lately. I don't know what it is but I just haven't been motivated to post anything. Maybe it's the fact that between taking care of my two kids and the house I don't seem to have time for much else, especially with Paul being gone so much for work lately.

Micah and I got back last week from a trip to California to visit the family. Ella stayed home with Daddy and I missed them both very much! Micah did AMAZING on the flights! I was actually able to relax on the plane, listen to my ipod and read which is a luxury for me these days =) Micah wasn't too happy once we got to California. I think the time change was hard on him. He didn't like being taken all over the place either. He would of much rather preferred taking a nice long nap in his bed. I was happy that he got to meet most of his family even though they probably thought he never stopped crying =) We were able to go to my niece Isabel's first birthday party, which was a lot of fun! Micah got to meet the rest of his cousins. It was really cute to hear Korah say "My cousin Micah!" Micah met all of his great grandparents! We stayed at Great Grandpa and Grandma McCabe's house for a a couple nights. My cousin Natalie came up for a day so it was really fun to see her! She is going to be a freshmen at Azuza Pacific University this year and I can't believe it! I had a great visit but as always there wasn't enough time to see everyone and do everything I wanted. I don't know when we will be able to all go out and visit again since Ella can no longer fly for free. The next time we do get out to California it's going to be for a family vacation. We want to be able to take Ella to Disneyland and to the beach and just spend some relaxing time together =)

Here are some pictures of Micah meeting some family and friends for the first time. I forgot the battery for my camera (I realized it when I went to take my first picture) It was conveniently plugged into the wall charger at home. I used my mom's camera for the week but for some reason it was on a bad setting and ended up taking really low quality pictures =( I'm really sad that I didn't get better pics but I will have to make due with what I got.

Our Little Entertainer

It's so amazing to see Ella's personality develop more and more everyday! She is such a goofball all the time and I have a feeling she is going to be our family's comedian. She loves to make us laugh and quiet often she does. She has this great ability to exasperate me one second and then have me laughing so hard the next.

Here is Ella showing off her "street" side, she breaks out with a rap at the end

Here she is cheering for the best baseball team! (You can't tell but she has a Dodgers hat on)

Here are some pictures of her but unfortunately they are horrible quality since they are from my cell phone.

Hmmm, I wonder what this little boy is going to be like.....
