Fair Time!

We love our little county fair. The kids and I look forward to it all year. There is nothing like fair rides and fried food combined with the smell of farm animals. ;)
The kids getting ready to compete in the tractor pull. Micah came in third for his age group!

The Cousins showing their pigs at the fair. Kylee and Kaden came in third place! So proud of them! They worked so hard.

Glasses, loose teeth, and turning 6!

I sometimes get so busy taking care of four kids that I forget how quickly they are growing up. The other day while driving Ella reminded me of this when she told me, "mommy, my tooth is wiggly." I was reminded that she is at the stage where she's going to start losing her baby teeth! I have a baby who will be getting his first tooth within the next few months, a toddler who's final two teeth have almost popped through and now a six year old who's ready to lose her first tooth. So we are in all the baby teeth stages. Then I took Ella in for her yearly eye appointment to see if her eye sight had improved since the previous year. We found out she is near sighted and will have to wear glasses. So I feel like this last month she has grown up so much! Starting school, loose teeth, and glasses! :(

God chose a wobbly tooth as a reminder to me that my kids are all growing up so fast and that I need to try my best to enjoy every stage they are in. Then to top it all off she had to go and turn six on me! It's a little too much for this mama!
We celebrated Ella's birthday with a pool party at the YMCA. The kids had a blast swimming and the parents got to relax and drink coffee so it was the perfect party! ;)

On her actual birthday she woke up to birthday waffles.

We made cupcake cake pops to bring for her class treat. I brought them during her lunch time and passed them out to her class. It was fun to see her eating lunch with her new friends.

After school I took her to pick out her new bike!

Ella requested Northstar Cafe for her birthday dinner. It's one of my favorite places to eat so I was happy! After, we got ice cream at Jenni's.

Micah's big week.

Micah has started his final year of preschool. Now the fun begins of driving two kids to two different schools three days a week ;) This will also be our last year at this wonderful preschool (for a couple years) until it's Rilynn's turn to go. They really do go to the best preschool and I have been so thankful we have been able to send Ella and Micah. Micah has the teacher Ella had last year and she's the best! On top of starting preschool he also had his first soccer game this past weekend. He did so good for his first time playing. He was able to stay with the ball and keep up with the other kids. He had so much fun and it was really cute watching him play.
