Glasses, loose teeth, and turning 6!
I sometimes get so busy taking care of four kids that I forget how quickly they are growing up. The other day while driving Ella reminded me of this when she told me, "mommy, my tooth is wiggly." I was reminded that she is at the stage where she's going to start losing her baby teeth! I have a baby who will be getting his first tooth within the next few months, a toddler who's final two teeth have almost popped through and now a six year old who's ready to lose her first tooth. So we are in all the baby teeth stages.
Then I took Ella in for her yearly eye appointment to see if her eye sight had improved since the previous year. We found out she is near sighted and will have to wear glasses. So I feel like this last month she has grown up so much! Starting school, loose teeth, and glasses! :(
God chose a wobbly tooth as a reminder to me that my kids are all growing up so fast and that I need to try my best to enjoy every stage they are in. Then to top it all off she had to go and turn six on me! It's a little too much for this mama!

On her actual birthday she woke up to birthday waffles.
We made cupcake cake pops to bring for her class treat. I brought them during her lunch time and passed them out to her class. It was fun to see her eating lunch with her new friends.
After school I took her to pick out her new bike!
Ella requested Northstar Cafe for her birthday dinner. It's one of my favorite places to eat so I was happy! After, we got ice cream at Jenni's.
We wrapped up the birthday celebration with a family bike ride. It was the perfect end to the perfect day :)

Ella has great taste! I made my mom take me to Jeni's last year on my birthday too, lol.
Aw...what a fun day for her! She is SO adorable! She is super cute in her new pink glasses! I can't wait for our girls to play together again next year!
