Snugglepup where are you?

I somehow lost Ella's favorite stuffed animal Snugglepup yesterday. I have looked everywhere for it but I think it must have dropped out of the car. Ella loved that little dog so much, it breaks my heart that it's gone. Last night when I laid her down for bed she looked around for it wanting to fall asleep with it in her arms like she normally does, it broke my heart. Where are you Snugglepup? We miss you!

Spring Time in Ohio

Don't get me wrong, California is beautiful! But nothing compares to spring time in Ohio. It's absolutely beautiful right now, everything is so green and the flowers are blooming. It's amazing to see how God takes the bleakness of winter and transforms it into beauty, much like he does in our own lives.
We worked in our front yard all day Saturday planting flowers. Hopefully they don't die =) Everyone out here spends hours working on their yards so we figured we should try and fit in.
For mother's day we went for a hike in the Delaware state park which is right down the road from us. Ella had so much fun sitting in her backpack carrier, she loves looking around at the world. We hiked down to the river and had fun skipping rocks. I had a really great first mother's day! Ella has been such a blessing to Paul and I. I absolutely love being a mommy. There is nothing better than seeing her face light up when I go get her out of her crib in the morning or hearing her sweet giggle. I'm SO blessed that God has given me this incredible privilege and responsibility.

Welcome to our Blog

Hello everyone!
I decided to create a blog to keep everyone updated on what's going on in our lives here in Ohio . Since we live so far away we thought this would be a good way for everyone to see what we are up to and view pictures. I will try and update it frequently.
I can't believe we have already been here for five months! We experienced our first mid west winter and we are now enjoying our first mid west spring! We have found a great church here and have met many new friends. I have really enjoyed the time I get to spend with my sister. It's been 12 years of seeing her maybe 2 weeks out of the year and now I get to see her daily! We are looking forward to what God has in store for us the rest of this year and sharing it with all of you.
