Summer Summer Summertime!

Time to sit back and unwind...... Ah, how true those classic DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince lyrics are :) Summer is in full swing here at the Giorgi household! I absolutely LOVE summer! I would take the high heat and humidity any day! We have been spending time at our favorite summer spot, the Waldo pool. I wasn't sure at first how the pool would work this summer since Micah would scream as if he were in excruciating pain whenever I put him in but with a little help from daddy he is now a fan of the water! Ella has been doing so great swimming and is really starting to get the hang of it! She is ready to jump right in as soon as we get there. I'm hoping to put her in swim lessons next month so she can become a swimming pro :) Other then the pool we have been enjoying ice cream trips, sprinkler fun, and getting lots of use out of our grill. I wish summer would last all year!
First time in the pool. Not a happy boy :(
Thought I would try out his baby pool to see if he would like that better...... not so much!
After a few minutes in the pool with daddy and he was having fun! He has been a lover of the pool ever since! :)

I let her stay up late to see the lightning bugs

She was both frightened and fascinated by them

Micah got this sprinkler for his birthday and it has been a big hit

Father's Day

We had a wonderful relaxing Father's Day yesterday! It consisted of cinnamon rolls, an amazing time of worship with our church family, extra long afternoon naps, barbecued ribs, smores, and a cute lively little girl who entertained us all evening :) Paul and I were even able to sneak off and go to a movie after the kids went to bed. I think Daddy had a fun day which means our mission was a success!

We love you Daddy and appreciate all the work you do and the sacrifices you make for us! We are a very blessed family :)

(Micah conked out early last night so that's why he is absent from the pictures.)
