Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving at our house with just the four of us this year. I decided to attempt to cook my first Thanksgiving meal which was a challenge being as that I have never made a turkey or any other thanksgiving foods before. I figured if I messed everything up we could find some restaurant that was open right? Fortunately everything turned out, and it was actually edible!!! Along with a turkey, I made sweet potatoes(Paul's favorite) mashed potatoes, gravy, green been casserole, Grandma's famous noodles (a thanksgiving tradition in my family) and 2 pies. I was going to make cranberry sauce but the grocery store was out of fresh cranberries so we had to settle for canned. I also made a spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. We had plenty of leftovers to last us the next few weeks =) We had fun spending time as a family, relaxing together, and enjoying the wonderful blessings God has put in our lives.

This is after we ate, we had enough leftovers to last us awhile

I made a traditional pumpkin and a turtle pumpkin pie. I figured a pie for each of us =)

Dang you are hard core! Thats an awesome dinner. I'm lame still, I'm glad that all I have to do is cook one thing and show up at a family members house and hang out with my cousins!

We can't wait to see you guys! I really hope that he is here by then so Noelle can show off her brother. It would be a bummer for you to miss him!
