The tomb is sealed!
Easter morning we got up early and the kids checked on the their tomb cookies to find they were empty inside! Afterwards the kids opened their Easter baskets.
After, we enjoyed a great Easter service at church. When we got home the kids did their Easter egg hunt at the house and we took some pictures in their Easter outfits :)
29 weeks at Easter :)
After that, we went over to my brother in law's families house for Easter lunch and fun. They are always so nice to include us in all their holidays and always make us feel like we are part of the family. They had an Easer egg hunt planned for the kids as well as fun games planned for the adults. We all had so much fun! Ella and Micah even got to walk down to the pond behind their house and go fishing and I got to shoot a BB gun for the first time, haha :)
Such a wonderful day with family reflecting on the resurrection of Jesus! So thankful that Christ bore the burden for our sins and that He is alive! We are a new creation and dead to our old selves because of that! Help me to remember that daily Jesus!
